MATA URBINA, Yudith Josefina e GALLARDO VILLARROEL, Yusmilys. Single-mothers teachers: Their impact on the emerging Socio-cult ural pedagogical praxis. Case study. Educere [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.44, pp.139-146. ISSN 1316-4910.
Before multiple contexts research fields emerge that allow to acknowledge the differences in gender. This research was done aiming to study the human condition of single-mothers teachers from the psychological, sociological and axiological perspective and their vision of the pedagogical praxis before an emerging culture. The method used was life history. Tow single mothers were interviewed, active teachers, with ages between 25 and 30 years old. Three dimensions were established: 1) family condition, 2) position towards motherhood, 3) experience: single mother. Here, we revealed the need of reframing the educational system in two main pillars, the axiological and the emotional.
