Abstract

ZAMBRANO LEAL, Armando. Philippe meirieu’s pedagogy: Three moments and the capability of teaching. Educere [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.44, pp.215-226. ISSN 1316-4910.

The French pedagogue Philippe Meirieu is one of the most influential French intellectuals in modern education. His vast work invites us to study it from the hermeneutical perspective holding for this end the concept of pedagogy. This concept is the center of our academic interests and its main aim is to understand pedagogues’ capacitation. In this article we preview some results from our research done along 2006-2008. A tracing of some biographical aspects of the author, some texts from his written work, the building of his model of thought, his concepts and sub-concepts is done. As a complement three moments of his capacitation are announced -learning, philosophy and politics- including the outline of his model of thought.

Keywords : Pedagogy; capability of teaching; model of thought; capacitation path; moment.
