The term school culture is common in the educational field, however, it has not been defined or discussed enough, and hence it has been necessary to see it as a study subject through a methodological way in which analysis and interpretation of historical discourse in this case have taken its place. Some aspects that characterize school culture have gestated in the history of school; this is why what has always existed is updated in the present. Along the way the passing of time over Venezuelan school history will be shown and how, in history, society dictated school’s faith. Moreover, answers were given to a lot of the criticism denounced nowadays on the narrative derivations that emerged from this discourse.
