Abstract

ARDILES, Martha. Teachers education, the other and the clues to anticpate teaching and learning: Talking with zambrano, from meirieu. Educere [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.45, pp.305-310. ISSN 1316-4910.

The paper takes contributions from P Meireieu’s theory, reviews his main work and talks them over with conceptualizations made by Armando Zambrano Leal. It also reflects on some aspect of education, amongst them the possibility of thinking that it requires revisiting the conditions to teach and the acknowledgement of the “other” as a subject. Another axis from the paper, refers to the concern from the teacher Meirieu mentions in his works, understanding it as a social actor made out of a didactical knowledge which is not just a technique, but a complex theory. Otherwise we would be talking, according to the author, about “methodologists,” from a technocratic paradigm far from the problematization of contents and subjects in a hermeneutical sense. Finally, it gets back the difficulty of teacher education when the difficulties related to the teacher’s educational power are foreseen and the possibility of escaping from the power of that who educates the teacher.

Keywords : teacher’s education; subjects; learning-emancipation conditions.
