Abstract

GUERRERO Z, Tivisay M  and  FLORES H, Hazel C. Theories of learning and instruction in the design of computerized didactical material. Educere [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.45, pp.317-329. ISSN 1316-4910.

The following research is a bibliographical revision of the general characteristics of learning and instruction theories from conductivism, cognitivism, constructivism and connectivism approaches, and their contribution when making Computerized Didactical Materials (MDI, in Spanish). In the research, the need that the designers are supported on these theories on order to determine the most pertinent strategies for its elaboration is presented. To achieve this, general characteristics of the theoretical currents mentioned above are shown, as well as the revision of specific proposals made by the authors representing each of them. As a result, it is seen that MDI can have flexible designs including different theoretical aspects, as long as the objectives proposed are clear and also how to use them favorably.

Keywords : theories; learning; instructional; material; computerized.
