Extrapulmonary tuberculosis in two unusual sites: Three clinical cases. Salus [online]. 2011, vol.15, n.2, pp.35-39. ISSN 1316-7138.

Because tuberculosis (TBC) is an infectious disease which occurs worldwide, its presence is not uncommon in our environment. Due to the way it is spread, it can affect different organs, and clinical manifestations may mimic other diseases. Diagnosing extrapulmonary TBClocated in abdomen or pelvis is often complex and frequently delayed. Three cases of extrapulmonary TBC located below the diaphragm, in the abdomen and pelvis, as well as clinical manifestations, management and evolution are presented.
