Victimization is the suffering created to a person for a crime or offense, this can affect also for the perception of the risk occurring. The objective was to analyze the problematic of victimizations in the medicine career students in Valencia, Venezuela. Methodologically the study was descriptive-correlational with a design observational transversal. The population was constituted for 922 students of the third and fifth year of Medical Studies, of a nonrandom simple of volunteers was obtained 527 students. The information was collected by interview, using surveys. The results indicate that 67,7% are female, the average age 21,45 ± 1,98 years (18 a 41 years). They 56,5% belong to medium low socioeconomic stratum and the 56,2% use public transport. The 70% use internet to inquire about the insecurity. 89,9% Perceived the robbery between frequent and very frequent. In the building of “Biomedical sciences” 87,4%. They have been victims 50,5% and 44,6 % for common criminals. Robbery is what happens more 31,6%; between frequent and very frequently in the building of “Biomedical sciences” with 26,8%. 68% consider that any prevention measure is applied. 53.5% believe that no agency provides security. It is concluded the existence of a level of victimization that affects half of the students, of this risk is a high perception. The preventive measures are not effective and competent law enforcement authorities don’t provide security according to the needs.
