In the present work, an approach to Teacher mediation in the application of the Finite Difference Method (MDF) to solve heat transfer problems by conduction in solid bodies is investigated, using the Theory of Didactic Situations (TSD). This is a qualitative study framed in a quasi-experimental design in the classroom, with the objective of investigating appropriate strategies for teaching and learning MDF to promote the development of Student skills. The sample is made up of 17 university students from a population of 68, from the Higher Pedagogical School of Bié-Angola, from the Degree courses in Physics Teaching and Mathematics Teaching and the teacher-researcher. The research used content analysis and statistics. With this study presents a didactic strategy (TSD) that allows improving the teaching and learning process with a view to developing students' skills in applying MDF. The research focuses on solving problems of heat transfer by conduction in solid bodies, keeping in mind the Teacher's mediation in promoting more engaging and meaningful learning for Students.
