MARITZA GRAU, Jolly. Is it possible to think of the existence of a technological mentality of the venezuelans?. SAPIENS [online]. 2009, vol.10, n.2, pp.121-132. ISSN 1317-5815.
In this theoretical-reflective study the author delves into the area ofsocial practices of the man as a manifestation of ways of thinking, feeling and acting that emerge in the everyday as a product ofcertain configurations or determinations that are hosted in the unconscious collective, which nest in the course oftime expressing an epochal rationality. Thus, one finds that technology as a social expertise is marked by the footprints of the motivations, beliefs, dispositions, world views and attitudes of the individuals who in context are faced with globalization processes that must live from the horizon of a foundational and critical thinking that enables tolerance of diversity but in a context of identity and self-construction moderated from an education that sculpts his strokes on that technologic mentality which is creating in Venezuela and for which I propose guidelines that point to a technology project for our nation.
