DIAZ BLANCA, Lourdes. Additives markers in the orality: their conmutation possibilities. SAPIENS [online]. 2009, vol.10, n.2, pp.145-164. ISSN 1317-5815.
Discourse markers occupy an area of great interest, in Spanish as well as any other languages. Research lines are diverse, but we decided on the paradigmatic interchange of the additives that mark a sum or addition relation of contents between the members of the speech that are connected. And we considered: a) to subcategorize, according to the use in the oral speech, the commutable markers of the group known as additives (in addition, indeed, likewise, even, aside, in addition, on top of it all, to make matters worse); and b) to describe the conditions that regulate the oral use of one or the other marker (position, frastic surroundings and function). As for the theory, we are supported by the contributions of Anscombre and Ducrot (1994), Martín Zorraquino and Portolés (1999) and Portolés (2001), Calsamiglia and Tusón (1999), Casado Velarde (1995), Briz (2001) and Domínguez (2005). Methodologically, we turned to the commutation method that consists of the grouping of those markers that, by their proximity in meaning and/or function, can replace one another. In general, we observed that among additives there are some, though having the same use, in which the commutation is not possible because the syntactic atmosphere and the semantic agreements do not allow it.
