We expose a didactic model for the initial formation of teachers of mathematics, built from the trial of an educational innovation, developed with student of pedagogy at a Venezuelan educational formation university, supported by the critical education of Mathematics, Collaborative Learning, Learning by Immersion, and supported by a action-reflection investigation strategy. The Model highlights the following aspects: scientific and ideological assumptions which serve as base for the interpretation of the school reality, conceptualization about the classroom, educational purposes to where the didactic task is oriented and didactic principles on which the school practice is based. The trial showed changes in concepts, attitudes and beliefs of the students about the meaning of the Mathematics teaching profession.
