The research offers a perspective on the meaning and significance to toys and games that are attributed by a guarenero in the period 1935 to 1945. Try entering in the identity and beliefs constructed by the social actor, a resident of Guarenas, Plaza municipality, Miranda state, who were present in their world of life. The methodology used in this work relies on the phenomenology, it seeks "the interpretation of the meanings of the world (lebenswelt) and the actions and interactions of social subjects" (Curl, 2005). The technique used was the qualitative interview then allowed a dialogical relationship between the interviewer, the informant and the context (Smith, 1998). This allows research be framed within the qualitative because it seeks, inter alia, "investigate in natural settings, trying to make sense or interpret phenomena in terms of the meaning people give them” (Vasilachis, 2006).
