This present work treats the phenomena of concentration of the media of communication in Chile, as organization and comprehensive context. In a broader context, the itinerary of the communication policies in Chile is characterized by: ( a) its explicit absence as constant, ( b ) the discursive hegemony from the nation-state , ( c ) the emphasis on the legislative bureaucracy ; and ( d ) the increasing incorporation of business rationality. Actually In Chile there are no active an explicit communication policies, but is clearly seen three situations: ( a) corporate communication effort of government , ( b ) control of the public spaces by the nation-state , and ( c ) construction of a legislative speech of the communication and the participation, with emphasis on the administration and management of communication devices in the society , for example, the set of laws in the field of telecommunications aiming to control and privatize the spaces.
