The fundamental purpose of this work is to present the results obtained when implementing the use of teaching strategies for the development of Multiple Intelligences (MI) in some courses of the cycle of Initiation of University (CIU) of the Simon Bolivar University, Caracas, Venezuela. Specifically we will present the results associated with the formation and development of activities of Homogeneous Intelligent Groups (GIH) when attending the resolution of problems of some topics of linear equations, present in the active program of mathematics I of CIU following part of the methodology of Polya, adapted to our context.
