Abstract
PADILLA, Graciela. La influencia de las series de médicos en los espectadores y en los profesionales de la salud. SAPIENS [online]. 2014, vol.15, n.1, pp.51-68. ISSN 1317-5815.
The manuals of communication and sanitary ethics have been relegated to the schools of Medicine and Nursing. This proposal breaks that tradition and takes these studies to the Schools of Communication. In which there are many and important techniques and methodologies of investigation. For example, the Medicine series of TV are a wide field of study. The North American Medicine series, released in Spain until 2010, are going to be studied. The script writers are inspired by the press, the reality and the important issues of the society. Therefore, they offer important portraits for AIDS treatment, cancer, abortion, Parkinson, Alzheimer, informed consent, protection data, privacy of the patient, organ transplantation and communication of wrong news. For the qualitative analysis, Ole R. Holsti`s theories was taken into account; for the Strategies of Communication, Ray Eldon Hiebert, for the meaning of ethic, morality and policy, Gustavo Bueno and for the dependency ratios classifications, Sánchez Corredera. The results reveal that this fiction type is stuck to the reality having an influence in the viewers like a possible patient or family member patient.
