A compliment stimulates an experimentation of structural changes. They are based on its syntactic constitution and its variety in the lexical repertoire. Its use, specially, to reach its effects, demands a fastest cons truction and transmission of the compliments as ingenious phrases with a brief duration. Those factors should be translating from the expressive channel of the orality to the writing to be published on web sites, and these are seen like emerging alternatives by users. The purpose of this research is realized an approach to Venezuelan discursive compliment that allows the evaluation of communicative scopes based on the meanings of “complacent” or “peevish”. The objective of this research was carried out through the selection and analysis of compliments that was taken from tripealo.com, a web site that is dedicated to the diffusion of Venezuelan compliments.
