Abstract

Health education to the local level, is a valuable strategy to strengthen health services, however, remains an outstanding debt in Venezuela. In this experiment the formation of social workers in health within an ecosystem approach, developed between 1993-2000 and where an approach to the principles of transdisciplinarity, social and gender equity, social participation and systemic research evidence described, integrating target groups graduates from different locations to communities and health teams from different federal agencies, in order to prevent endemic diseases.
