Abstract

ALBARRAN, Jenny. Conceptual references to femicide / feminicide: Its incorporation in the Venezuelan juridical norms. Comunidad y Salud [online]. 2015, vol.13, n.2, pp.75-80. ISSN 1690-3293.

The article presents different conceptions about femicide / feminicide, implying examine different theoretical perspectives and interests; however, all have in common contribute to the understanding of the misogynist murders of women around the world. In this sense, we include a classification of femicide / feminicide occurs, the types that have been expressed in different contexts (mainly Latin América), the factors that foster it, and its recent addition to national legal regulations.
