Abstract

EPISTEMOLOGICAL REFLECTIONS AND SEMANTICS ABOUT BASKETBALL AS AREA OF KNOWLEDGE FOR HEALTH FROM A HOLISTIC VISION. Comunidad y Salud [online]. 2016, vol.14, n.1, pp.74-78. ISSN 1690-3293.

The thoughts presented in this essay are aimed, reveal the epistemologico-semantico model that has defined basketball until today. Deconstructing the elements that underlie his theory, from languages, codes and terminologies used nationally and internationally, of the episteme positivist-Pragmatista of modernity. This was due to the need to rethink the speech, incorporating new logical and referents in the sports field with vision multidimensionada, beyond of the game, the technique and marketing. Such resignification, is based on the review of records tesauricos and documentaries that summarize this nomenclature, reviewing some aspects of the holistic as theoretical support. The essay in question seeks to so, provide conceptual tools applicable to the resolution of problems in sport, health and various social fields, especially education. In such a way that the epistemological orientation that sustains this discussion, it is based on the complexity holistic approach, and hermeneutics, as method of analysis and interpretation of the content of standards, documents and forms of enunciation. On that basis, we found sufficient grounds to the epistemological and semantic resignification of this area of knowledge which gives large contributions to health.
