Abstract

For the recording and reporting of cases of leishmaniasis should be considered the conceptualization of cases and their epidemiology, program feasible technological components and the registration reliability. Hence, the technical evaluation of the constituent elements of the registration form and reporting cases of cutaneous leishmaniasis and visceral leishmaniasis L1 and conceptual development on factors associated with the disease was raised. The joint analysis of the two sections (L1) tab, revealed little validity and reliability of the registry items, hence it is imperative to update this instrument as a source of information, essential for the actions of the National Program for Control LV, under the Ministry of Popular Power for Health. general information, patient data, clinical data, environmental factors, laboratory data, stock control or prevention and evolution and classification of cases "where confirmation is contemplated by clinical, paraclinical or epidemiological link: seven (7) components were identified , throwing DPP estimated values to 2.40, giving total adaptation to construct, ie, the integration of the components into an instrument, give the consistent quality. In conclusion, the factors associated with the recording and reporting of cases of leishmaniasis, which are grouped into seven components that epidemiological information is reliable and feasible, easy to use, comprehensive record of great utility, which will set new strategies for prevention and control to interrupt transmission.
