The study analyzes the potential development of Legionella pneumophila in different materials, installed in water distribution systems of public use bathtubs and hydromassage pools. The facilities are divided into interior and coastal populations of Spain (Málaga). Based on the health control criteria, colonization facility and the results obtained, a relationship between the different materials of the pipes and the risk of development of the bacteria is suggested.
