Abstract
PEREIRA, Carmen. Cinema, Prison and Women: A Example of Creation of Knowledge . Enlace [online]. 2009, vol.6, n.2, pp.39-55. ISSN 1690-7515.
The cinema enhances the personal perception, develops our sensitivity and brings us closer to different inner worlds, which can be protected because they can help us grow through identity. This identity is achieved through symbolic and non-biological facts, which can determine the supremacy of one gender, besides the transformation of old existing social stereotypes. This is a mass media element with big impact and its didactic value has no doubts. Through this report it is tried to improve the learning ways and foster the knowledge, skills and the right attitudes of a group of prisoners in order to achieve the reintegration into society. A program of pedagogical intervention was developed from a qualitative methodology based on the concept of action-research-action and problem solving. This program was developed using the cinema as a way to inform, to encourage participation and peaceful coexistence. Finally, the conclusions show the most remarkable outcomes of this report.
