The objective of the article is to carry out a bibliometric review on the use of Design Thinking in the field of education in the Scopus database. The findings include a summary of the most important scientific articles and journals in the subject area, as well as the most prolific and prominent authors, organizations, and nations. The growth rate found is 17.27% and an average of citations close to 13 citations per published document. These results show that the topic is of importance and significance today for both scientific journals and researchers. The study has addressed the implications for theory and practice of this approach, providing a comprehensive overview of the expected impacts of Design Thinking in education.
