The objective of the article is to analyze how Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically the “Designer” function of “Copilot”, can be used in the creation and interpretation of images to improve teaching and learning in the educational field. In the study, six primary school students from the rural school of Juscaymarca in Ayacucho, Peru, were asked to use AI to generate images based on their imagination. The study results suggest that AI can be a valuable tool in education, helping students explore their creativity and understand their world in a deeper and more meaningful way. Furthermore, the resulting images, which illustrate daily life in a rural environment, not only serve as visual representations, but also as testimonies of life in Ayacucho.
