The sustained expansion in the offer of master's degree programs has brought challenges in terms of quality assurance, which mobilizes Higher Education Institutions to guarantee high standards through accreditation of master's degree programs. The objective of this systematic review is to analyze the existing scientific production regarding accreditation processes and their contribution to the quality and improvement of teaching in master's degree training. From a qualitative approach, a documentary analysis was carried out using the PRISMA method. Research was compiled between the years 2019-2024. A total of 18,494 articles were identified in databases, Scopus, Google Scholar and Web of Science. Through exclusion and inclusion criteria, four articles were finally selected. The results of the systematic review highlight contributions of accreditation reflected in improvement focuses related to teaching, the capacity of the academic body in the management of pedagogical skills, curricular implementation and aspects associated with the use of methodologies and the management of technological resources, emphasizing the need to strengthen the training and monitoring processes of teaching from a perspective of continuous improvement.
