The research focuses on analyzing and evaluating the feasibility of alternative funding sources at the Technical Baccalaureate School Daniel Córdova Toral, in response to the reduction of public financial support for education in Ecuador. To this end, a cross-sectional quantitative design is used, through which surveys are applied to key staff of the educational institution, aiming to explore their perceptions of the effectiveness and sustainability of these alternative sources. The results indicate that the current sources of funding are insufficient and their long-term viability is uncertain, with significant variations in perceptions among the different surveyed groups. The study concludes by highlighting the critical need to optimize the management of these sources and to establish a robust legal framework that substantially improves the quality of the technical education provided.
