DUCHI VALDEZ, Carlos Eduardo; ACOSTA ROMERO, Juliana Elizabeth and CHICAY EGAS, Jenniffer Anai. Continuous Teacher Training in Technical Schools and its Impact on Educational Quality. Rev. Sci. This study examines the impact of continuous training on educational quality in Ecuadorian technical schools, based on the need for constant updating of technical teachers facing technological and pedagogical advances. Through a quantitative analysis, structured surveys were applied to 30 teachers from various technical specialties, evaluating participation in training programs, motivational factors, and perception of effectiveness. Results reveal that 93,3% (In the last 4 years: 33,3% + In the last 2 years: 33,3% + In the last year: 26,7%) of teachers participated in continuous training programs during the last 4 years, mainly through the Mecapacito platform (66,7%) and national universities (53,3%). The main obstacles identified were the scarcity of relevant programs for the technical area (53,3%) and lack of institutional incentives (33,3%). 83,4% of teachers perceived a significant improvement in their teaching quality, with a positive impact on student academic outcomes (80%). It is concluded that continuous training positively influences technical educational quality, although it requires greater specialization and adaptation to specific area needs, making it necessary to diversify and contextualize training programs.
