Abstract
LEON AURIS, Magaly Eduvina. Didactic Strategies for Meaningful Learning in Basic Education. Rev. Sci. [online]. 2024, vol.9, n.33, pp.212-230. Epub May 11, 2025. ISSN 2542-2987. https://doi.org/10.29394/scientific.issn.2542-2987.2024.9.33.10.212-230.
The research examined the impact of innovative didactic strategies on meaningful learning in basic education. Through a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach, an intervention program and a validated 27-item questionnaire were applied to 55 fifth-grade students, distributed in control (25) and experimental (30) groups. Results showed significant improvements in the experimental group: 95% reached achievement level in global meaningful learning, while the control group remained at initial level. Statistical analysis confirmed significant differences in the posttest (Sig.=0.000, Z=-5.964) between both groups. Specific dimensions showed similar progress: 95% reached achievement level in subordinate learning, 90% in superordinate and 95% in combinatorial. It is concluded that the implemented didactic strategies effectively improved meaningful learning in its different dimensions, significantly transforming the educational process in basic education.
