This essay analyzes organizational spirituality as a fundamental element for management strengthening in Venezuelan military welfare and social security institutions. The concept of spirituality is examined from its etymological foundations to its practical application in institutional environments, highlighting its independence from formal religious structures. Through contributions from various authors such as Waaijman (2011); Zohar and Marshall (2001); Pérez (2007); and Geaquinto and Gonçalves (2021); it is established that spirituality transcends the religious domain to become an essential component of contemporary organizational development. The research reveals that military institutions must evolve from traditional bureaucratic models toward learning and innovative organizations based on humanistic principles. Through a transcomplex approach, it demonstrates that management grounded in spiritual values not only improves institutional efficiency and work environment but also contributes to the integral development of its members. The study concludes that organizational spirituality represents a necessary response to workplace dehumanization, allowing institutions to overcome an instrumental vision and establish environments where human fulfillment and social progress coexist harmoniously.
