Inadequate working conditions in public hospitals constitute psychosocial risks that affect healthcare personnel health, care quality and patient safety. The objective of this study was to analyze comprehensive health management to reduce psychosocial risks of professionals in a public hospital. A documentary research with qualitative descriptive approach was conducted, based on systematic review following PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The sample consisted of 33 investigations selected from Scopus and SciELO databases during 2016-2024 period. Results showed that healthcare professionals are exposed to psychosocial risks manifested in work stress, fatigue, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, cardiovascular diseases and musculoskeletal disorders. Main factors identified were intense workloads, extended schedules, limited autonomy and poor interpersonal relationships. It is concluded that early identification of psychosocial risk factors is essential to implement multidisciplinary management strategies including specialized training, improvement of organizational conditions and prevention programs, thus ensuring healthcare personnel protection and hospital service quality.
