Intercultural higher education faces a shortage of teachers trained from ancestral paradigms, limiting the capacity to revitalize indigenous knowledge. This study analyzes the construction of Amawta Runa Pacha from the cosmic- Andean vision to understand its relevance in intercultural higher education teaching practice. An exploratory-interpretive qualitative design was employed based on documentary research and intercultural hermeneutic analysis, developed in four phases: historical documentary analysis, contemporary systematic review (2003-2020), dialogue with collective memory through circular conversations with 12 Yachakkuna from Kichwa, Shuar and Achuar nationalities, and intercultural interpretive synthesis. Results reveal that Amawta Runa Pacha represents a state of wisdom characterized by four states of consciousness: logic (Umayuyay), consciousness (Shunkuyuyay), balance (Allikay) and harmony (Ñawiyay/ñawinchiy), developed through four progressive levels: Yachay, Yachana, Yachak and Yachak Yachachik. It is concluded that Amawta Runa Pacha constitutes an integral educational paradigm that transcends Western models, offering a concrete methodological framework to transform intercultural teaching practice through synchronic integration of cosmic knowledge with academic formation, contributing to effective decolonization of knowledge.
