Pre-professional Strategies and Graduate Profile in Comprehensive Child Development, Ecuador 2024. Rev. Sci. [online]. 2025, vol.10, n.35, pp.407-429. Epub Oct 31, 2025. The training of professionals in comprehensive child development faces challenges related to the systematization of pre-professional practices in technological higher education institutes in Ecuador. This study evaluated the effectiveness of a methodological strategies program to improve pre-professional practices in its dimensions of planning, development, evaluation, and feedback, and characterized the graduate profile in its dimensions of relevance, coherence, viability, and internal consistency. A quantitative approach with pre-experimental design was employed, analyzing responses from 35 final-semester students through surveys applied before and after an educational intervention. The profile characterization showed that 45,71% of students were at medium level and 28,57% at low level. Descriptive and inferential statistics, including the Wilcoxon test, indicated significant improvements (p<0,05) in pre-professional practice strategies after the intervention, with an increase in the high level from 22,86% to 48,57%. Although substantial progress was achieved, students at low level persist, suggesting the need for more sustained program application. The study concludes that structured implementation of methodological strategies substantially improves students' professional development and recommends institutionalizing such interventions throughout the entire academic program to ensure educational quality and strengthen comprehensive training.
