CHICA-ESQUIVIA, Norcis Amalia. Active and participatory strategies as tools to enhance the English teaching-learning process. Cienciamatria [online]. 2023, vol.9, n.17, pp.71-85.  Epub Feb 08, 2024. ISSN 2542-3029.  https://doi.org/10.35381/cm.v9i17.1124.

The teaching of another language, such as English, demands both a great commitment on the part of teachers and students as involved actors, as well as the deployment of specific action instruments that tend towards the active participation of both, in order to generate quality teaching and learning processes. From this context, the present article is framed in describing active and participatory strategies as tools to enhance the teaching-learning process of the English language. It is based on a descriptive bibliographic documentary research. In conclusion, it is established that learning another language such as English in an active and participative way implies the use of multiple cooperative and collaborative strategies that make possible the creation of situations of interaction between the student and the others that converge in the educational world, so that he/she becomes an active subject and develops autonomous and meaningful learning.
