The purpose of this study was to investigate the teaching-learning strategies used in early childhood education for teaching English. Methodologically, a quantitative-descriptive approach was used in order to make a detailed analysis of the pedagogical practices employed by teachers and their impact on students’ learning. The sample consisted of a group of 50 teachers and 100 early childhood education students from different educational institutions in the country. As techniques, the survey and classroom observation were used and, as an instrument, the questionnaire was applied. The results revealed the use of both traditional and innovative methods. In conclusion, the implementation of teaching strategies according to students' individual needs and preferences was considered as a key aspect.
