Abstract

NARANJO-MORA, Maira Juana. Mathematical strategies, sustainable development and their impact on baccalaureate students. Cienciamatria [online]. 2024, vol.10, n.18, pp.275-288.  Epub Aug 22, 2024. ISSN 2542-3029.  https://doi.org/10.35381/cm.v10i18.1269.

The general objective of the research was to analyze mathematical strategies, sustainable development and its incidence in high school students. The study was conducted from a quantitative perspective, through the collection and critical analysis of documentary and bibliographic references. From a documentary bibliographic design, the researcher carried out a research process where the study population was based basically on written documents such as theses and refereed works. The analytical-synthetic approach was based on mentally breaking down the system studied into various compendiums. The inductive-deductive method was also used. It is concluded that mathematical strategies are essential for the sustainable growth of high school students. Throughout this research it is highlighted how important they are for fostering creativity, innovation, environmental problem solving and critical thinking. Furthermore, it has examined how these techniques are applied in the field of sustainable development, such as statistical analysis.
