The general objective of the research was to analyze significant improvements in environmental education through didactic strategies. The research was carried out from a quantitative perspective through the retrieval, collection and analysis of documentary and bibliographic references. In this sense, the researcher used a documentary bibliographic design to carry out the research process in which the study population was mainly based on refereed works, theses and texts, as well as taking into account content analysis. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. In conjunction, the inductive-deductive approach was employed. The production of new knowledge was achieved. It is concluded that environmental teaching strategies are very effective approaches to improve student learning. The results obtained show the significant impact on both the level of knowledge acquired and the positive change of attitude towards the environment that is expected to be achieved.
