ARTEAGA-PINAZO, Jesús Ramón; UTANI-DAMIAN, Sonia y QUITO-ESTEVES, Arlette Camila. Strategic plans of regional governments related to current health policies. Cienciamatria [online]. 2024, vol.10, n.19, pp.68-80. Epub 30-Nov-2024. ISSN 2542-3029. https://doi.org/10.35381/cm.v10i19.1350.
The general objective of the research was to describe the strategic plans of regional governments related to current health policies. This research was carried out using a quantitative, descriptive paradigm and was complemented by a documentary-bibliographic design. This allowed the collection of information extracted from peer-reviewed articles, laws, bibliographic texts, among others, and the analytical method was used. It is concluded that, at the subnational level, regional governments are essential to carry out national health policies. Regional governments help achieve national health goals by formulating and implementing their Regional Strategic Health Plans, which are aligned with the National Multisectoral Health Policy.
