This article analyzes the way in which the social reintegration of adolescent offenders is being developed through the application of mediation with a restorative approach. Methodologically, a basic study was carried out, based on documentary analysis and systematic review of the literature, addressing a qualitative approach and a search of various documents from the following databases: Scielo, Scopus and Redalyc during the period 2019 to 2023, using the documentary review technique. According to the results, there is a clear increase in interest in restorative justice and mediation with a restorative approach within the context of the social reintegration of adolescents. As a conclusion, this underscores the need to develop solid normative frameworks to guide the implementation of restorative programs in various contexts.
