The general objective of the research was to analyze the influence of the institutional climate on the teaching performance focused on the profile. The research work was carried out from a quantitative approach, through exploration, collection and critical analysis by means of a documentary typology, with a bibliographic design, which seeks reflection and analysis, constructing methods related to the discernment of the phenomenon and thus evaluate or consider new contexts. Additionally, documentary sources at a theoretical level and refereed works related to the central aspects of the work were reviewed and analyzed, such as theses, scientific articles and refereed journals, developing a content analysis. It is concluded that, undoubtedly, the institutional climate will influence teaching performance, since it is necessary to create a favorable environment that contributes to the development of competencies considering the teaching profile, hence it is linked to guarantee an optimal academic management.
