The general objective of the research was to describe the work climate and its influence on the skills of managers, Maule, Chile. To carry out this study, a quantitative, descriptive and correlational approach was designed for which a representative sample of 80 managers from various organizations in the Maule region was selected. In addition, a documentary-bibliographic typology was used to establish the analysis of the object of study and to describe the topic addressed. A questionnaire previously validated by 5 experts was used. It is concluded that the study provides evidence of the positive influence of the work environment on the skills of managers in the Maule region, with a Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient of 0.865 and a significance of < 0.05, which allows affirming that a favorable work environment is associated with a greater development of leadership and management skills.
