Access to natural resources, public spaces and biodiversity are issues that continue to be studied, achieving harmony among the three is not an easy task, and it is precisely there where government authorities intervene; thus, the objective of the study was to evaluate the relationship between municipal environmental management, territorial occupation and the perception of good living in the inhabitants of Ayacucho. The study is non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational in scope. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the municipality establish specific policies and programs for the adequate management of waste, monitoring and evaluating on a regular basis the results of municipal environmental management, as well as territorial occupation.
