The study aimed to determine the production of scientific articles on the quality of service from the connectivist theory associated with the virtual educational platform in Latin America between the years 2019 - 2023. The methodology was supported by a systematic review, scientific studies hosted in Scopus, Redalyc, Scielo and Dialnet databases were considered. The results indicate that the country with the highest number of publications is Ecuador, with 22.45% of the works; the preferred database for publication was Scopus, with 51.02%; the highest percentage was obtained at the higher level, 36.73%; the years with the highest percentage of publications were 2021 and 2022, with 32.65% respectively. It was concluded that there are few studies on the use of virtual platforms in Latin America and several of those that have been found do not correspond to the improvement of the quality of the educational service.
