This research presents a quasi-experimental work whose objective was to determine the impact of a model based on the service learning methodology to promote university social responsibility, through an applied research, with control and experimental groups. The sample consisted of 45 students, in each group, of the Human Rights course of a university in Trujillo-Peru, obtained by non-probabilistic sampling. A pretest and a posttest were applied, whose results establish that both groups present significant differences (sig<0.05); concluding that the application of the model had a high impact on the promotion of university social responsibility.
