Abstract

ESPINOLA-CALDERON, Jacqueline Lupita; TERRONES-MARREROS, Mario Andrés; ALCALDE-MOSQUEIRA, María Ricardina  and  GERONIMO-MIGUEL, Oscar Santiago. Literary conversation and its influence on the development of students' critical thinking. Koinonía [online]. 2023, vol.8, suppl.2, pp.99-111.  Epub July 19, 2024. The objective of the research was to determine the influence of literary conversation as a strategy in the development of critical thinking (C.P.) in high school students. It had a quantitative approach with two groups: a control group and an experimental group to whom a pre-test and a post-test were administered. The evaluation instrument used was an estimation scale with six dimensions: interpretation, analysis, inference, self-regulation, explanation and evaluation, each with its respective criteria. The results show that there are significant differences in the post-test of the experimental group, indicating that the adolescents have managed to strengthen the different critical thinking skills.
