RODRIGUEZ-POLO, Deysi Angelica; TERRONES-MARREROS, Mario Andrés and DURAN-LLARO, Kony Luby. Project-Based Learning to improve communication skills. Koinonía [online]. 2023, vol.8, suppl.2, pp.194-211. Epub July 19, 2024. ISSN 2542-3088. https://doi.org/10.35381/r.k.v8i2.2871.
The objective of the study was to determine the effect of the use of the project-based learning program on the improvement of communication skills in 4th grade high school students of public educational institutions in the municipality of El Porvenir in the year 2023. The methodology of the study uses a hypothetical-deductive approach, with an applied level of interpretation and a quasi-experimental design. The sample consists of 132 students: 62 in the experimental group and 70 in the non-intervention group. The techniques are observations, the instruments are assessments, used as pre- and post-tests. It was observed that before using PBL, the average score of communicative ability was 11.87±3.55, and after using this strategy, the average score increased to 19.01±1.52. Likewise, in its dimensions it can be glimpsed that the average score increases after using this strategy.
