The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the effectiveness of the training strategy with a humanistic approach for the development of socioemotional competencies in second grade high school students of the Public Institution, Viru, 2023. Methodologically, the study was conducted under the quantitative approach, applied research and quasi-experimental design. Experimentation was used as a technique and a JAJB-2 situational test was applied as an instrument to measure socioemotional competencies. The sample consisted of 65 students, respectively. The data was processed with SPSS 26, obtaining a p-value of less than 0.05 (0.000 < ,005) in the post-test; that is, the results showed a significant improvement in socioemotional competencies; which were obtained through the Mann Whitney "U" test, reaching satisfactory and outstanding levels. Consequently, it was concluded that the training strategy with a humanistic approach significantly improved the socioemotional competencies of the students.
