The objective of this research was to determine the influence of the inverted classroom strategy to strengthen inquiry competence through scientific methods in students of the VII cycle of secondary education in an educational institution, Trujillo, 2023. Methodologically, it was carried out in the context of a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design, working with a sample of 62 students. On the other hand, the observation was used as an experimental technique and the ProDiGAE test was applied as an instrument. The results showed a significant influence on inquiry competence. Therefore, it was concluded that the inverted classroom strategy significantly influences inquiry competence.
