This article presents an exhaustive analysis of didactic strategies to optimize learning in Ecuadorian students. The objective was to describe the teaching-learning process through the use of various didactic strategies, such as: active learning, the use of educational technology, cultural contextualization, the problem-solving approach and collaboration. As methodology, a quantitative perspective was used under the descriptive method. The sample consisted of 25 students belonging to different educational levels in Ecuador, who participated in various pedagogical experiences and a survey to argue the study according to their educational realities. The results indicated that the strategies had a positive impact on the learning and academic performance of Ecuadorian students. Therefore, it was concluded that the formative experience generated a participatory and motivating learning environment oriented to the integral development of the students.
