The objective of this article was to analyze studies on stage fright and the incidence on the development of students' socioemotional linguistic skills. As methodology, a systematic review of the literature was used, considering a descriptive level. For this purpose, scientific articles published in the Scopus, Dialnet, ERIHPLus and Latindex databases were examined. The results revealed that the country with the highest number of publications was Spain, followed by Ecuador; the database with the highest number of publications was Latindex while Scopus was in third place; the year with the highest percentage of publications was 2022 and the preferred educational level for research was higher education. In conclusion, the need to broaden the field of study on this topic due to the impact it has, especially on adolescents, was pointed out.
