This article is framed in understanding digital skills and their potential for the development of artistic competences in students. It corresponds to a qualitative documentary type of research, developed on the basis of a bibliographic design. Finally, it can be said that artistic competences play an essential role in the integral development of students, which is why boosting their progress with the use of technological tools is fundamental, as it is a powerful tool for facilitating learning, boosting creativity and innovation, fostering the development of other key skills, as well as providing opportunities for production, visibility and growth in the field of art for students.
